A Mixed Bag at PensionDuring my recent stay at the Pension, I experienced a blend of comfort and inconvenience, making it a rather complex evaluation. Let's dive into the details. it sits just outside the bustling old town, allowing for a pleasant walk to the city's treasures while avoiding the chaos. The room was generously sized, clean, and came equipped with a flat-screen TV, which provided some entertainment after a long day of exploration. A few issues did mar the experience. First off, the shared restroom was not disclosed beforehand, which was unexpected. In an age where privacy is valued, I would have preferred an en-suite setup. The noise from the street was another drawback-partying revellers kept me awake until the early hours, not ideal for someone seeking rest after a day of walking. On the plus side, the manager, Li, was friendly and obliging, offering me an electric kettle and some tea to help me recharge. While the Pension does provide a good bed and warm hospitality, the shared facilities and noise levels make one question the value at €88 per night. Consider your priorities when booking!
